Our client is a fairly young privately owned luxury clothing brand. The business currently heavily relies upon e-commerce to sell the product alongside a few selected retailers. Due to ambitious growth and expansion plans the Founder CEO is looking to hire a Finance Director. This role will be key to the strategic growth of the brand and will be an exciting and fast paced value creation journey for the selected finance professional.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance function
  • Take a lead in business planning and strategy
  • Support all commercial decision making and business partner the CEO and Board
  • Future involvement with warehousing, logistics and physical operations
  • Lead on tax, FX and international finance issues

Key skills and experience:

  • Candidates must have been the No 1 in Finance previously and ideally had Board level experience
  • Candidates should have experience of e-commerce/multi-channel/online retail ideally with a luxury brand
  • SME experience not solely large corporate experience
  • International experience – USA would be very beneficial
  • Experience of working in a high growth and value creation situation


This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and experienced TEAM and take part in what aims to be a successful luxury brand roll out. Suitable candidates must have appropriate retail experience and be excited by the upside potential that this opportunity offers. The role will be very hands – on due to the current size and relative early stage of the business so candidates must be both willing and able to function effectively in this sort of environment.
