Our client is a private equity backed fully managed clinical service provider working closely with the NHS across the whole of the UK. The UK is at an inflection point of unprecedented healthcare demands upon an already overburdened NHS system so our client is preparing for rapid growth and expansion which will ultimately lead to some form of monetisation event/exit/transaction.

The CEO of this organisation is looking to hire a commercial and ambitious CFO to partner him on the fast paced journey ahead.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance and accounting function
  • Increase the level of operational support the finance function can provide the business eg KPI’s and management information analysis
  • Oversee the organisations transaction processing systems
  • Manage external relationships with banks, investors, auditors, lawyers etc
  • Be a peer level commercial asset to the SMT and CEO with regard to all commercial decision making across the business
  • Take a lead role in any M&A activity to include any form of exit

Type of person required:

  • Experienced CFO who has been the no1 in finance previously, preferably in a private equity backed business
  • A positive, solution focussed attitude and personality
  • A candidate who has previously worked in a scale-up/rapid growth SME
  • A candidate who is reasonably systems literate and who has worked in a highly service driven business previously
