CFO

Salary: Up to £175k + Bonus + Equity

Our client is a rapidly growing professional services/ consultancy business and they are now looking to recruit a highly driven CFO who will play a critical role in developing a best-in-class finance function able to support the various division of the business. Partnering the CEO, the CFO will lead on commercial pricing strategy driving commercial value across the business whilst ensuring that the finance function is quick to deliver future insights and recommendations to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic management
  • Manage the working capital of the business
  • Maximising sales and margin opportunities
  • Production of budgets and appropriate re-forecasts in the required timescales
  • Take a lead in pricing strategy
  • Produce and maintain reporting systems including trend analysis and financial modelling
  • Provide timely, accurate and relevant information to fully support the business
  • Ensure appropriate credit control and treasury policies are in place
  • Responsible for the effective management of stakeholder relationships including Investors and Bank
  • Ensure suitable and robust financial controls are maintained across the company
  • Lead and control the annual audit process
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Able to make broader contribution commercially (e.g. commercial pricing strategy, fundraising)


Skills and experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ ACCA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a Managed Services/ Professional Services/ SaaS business
  • Private Equity and exit experience advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and lead
