CFO

Salary: c£130k-£150k per year plus upside (dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-established, privately owned, luxury footwear brand. The product is iconic and has a loyal and expanding international customer base. Whilst the business is headquartered in the UK, the wholly owned manufacturing facility is located overseas. The business has undergone a substantial transformation over the past 10 years and like many niche, high end retailers is significantly growing the E-commerce offering. Due to ambitious growth plans the shareholders are looking to hire a CFO to partner the CEO on what is planned and expected to be an exciting value creation journey.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance function
  • Take a lead in business planning and strategy
  • Support all commercial and operational decision making and ad hoc projects/activities as well as key supplier negotiations
  • Be proactive and ensure data analytics support commercial decision making
  • Take a lead on capex requirements
  • Manage relationships with Stakeholders , banks and other parties where appropriate

This is an exciting and fast paced role that would suit an experienced CFO who is ideally seeking a role where they can add value and make a positive impact to the business. Relevant sector experience is essential to ensure the successful candidate hits the ground running. Candidates must be prepared to roll up their sleeves and get under the bonnet as this role requires a certain level of detail as well as a strategic overview and mind set.
