Our client is a leader in the development of renewables technology. On a high growth, value creation, journey they have backing from leading investors (UK and International) and world class leadership. They are now looking to add to their talented finance team with the recruitment of a Finance Manager, also with a view to succession planning. You will report to the Group Financial Controller working closely with them and the business as it scales internationally. The role will be both financially and operationally important, helping to deliver on the exciting pipeline of opportunities. It would suit a finance professional who a self-starter, proactive and hungry to be part of a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly consolidated management accounts and reporting packs with the assistance of the management accountant and our overseas accounting partners.
  • Support and assist the Financial Controller in delivering compliance with
  • group statutory and filing requirements (direct/indirect taxation, payroll, Co-sec and statutory reporting).
  • Work with overseas tax and accounting professionals, when required
  • Assist the FP&A manager in budgeting and reforecasting.
  • Expand the reporting capabilities of Finance to help guide the business through the growth phase.
  • Input and optimisation of the planning and budgeting tool to enable smooth forecasting and budgeting.
  • Build relationships with other departments and help finance become a business partner across the organisation with full transparency on performance.
  • Continuous improvement and optimisation of the accounting system to be best in class to deliver optimum efficiencies for the business.
  • Ad-hoc duties as reasonably required


Person specification

  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with excellent academics
  • Ideally experience of working in a multi-currency, multi-subsidiary structure
  • Strong understanding of core accounting systems (GL, Consolidation) and supporting core processes
  • A self-starter and able to take initiatives and adapt to rapidly growing business
  • Confident and articulate, able to influence change and continuous improvement
  • Experience in NetSuite is desirable, but not essential
