Our client is a pioneer in the co-working space, operating as a true partner to its 3000 + entrepreneurial customer base. The DNA of the team reflects that of its customer base, ensuring that they always stay one step ahead of the market. Strong future growth is planned, including acquisitions. Essential to enacting the plans is the hire of an FP&A Analyst. This is a newly created role, working very closely with the CEO/Founder and the Financial Controller. The role will suit a confident, organised, detail-oriented, data-savvy FP&A Analyst who is excited by the significant targets and is keen to become involved with preparing presentations and data driven recommendations/modelling for new sites. Additionally, the role would also support the whole business financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Requirement:

  • As the first dedicated FP&A hire, opportunity to build a technically strong, data-focused, commercial, and scalable FP&A function.
  • Data and deal flow analysis
  • Modelling new sites, and assisting expansion -
    Improving current modelling
  • Providing meaningful slides and interpretation
  • Delivering financial reports, and variance analysis
  • Explaining complicated metrics clearly, and concisely to stakeholders
  • Driving senior leadership’s strategic decisions through expert analysis

Candidate:

  • Experience as an FP&A analyst, or in a similar role
  • Must have multisite/multi departmental experience
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets and proven financial modelling experience
  • Must be able to communicate and simplify complex inputs and outputs
  • Possess good business acumen, and the ability to simplify the business into a financial model
  • Have great communication skills - will need to be confident explaining complicated models in basic terms to non-finance
  • Have previous experience in Forecasting, Budgeting and Analysis working in a multisite business
  • Be supremely organised and methodical
