Additionally, their digital products are used and loved by millions of people every month around the world. The business is rapidly scaling and as a result they now seek a Financial Controller to join the team and ensure that the finance function is a key support to the further exponential growth anticipated . This is an exciting role, varied in nature, with the opportunity to truly make an impact and build a first in class finance team and support the board and investors. As part of the Senior Finance Team, you will have commercial and strategic involvement across the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, develop and motivate the Operational Accounting function
  • Complete and review monthly management accounts, covenant testing and KPIs and provide variance analysis
  • Annual budgeting and forecasts
  • Driving continuous improvement of finance systems, data, processes, policies and controls
  • Compliance with all tax requirements, such as PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D Tax
  • Ensure all company audits and tax return information is completed in a timely fashion and optimum results are achieved
  • Liaise with external accountants and advisors, particularly in support of the statutory audit and tax computations
  • Ad hoc project work as required and involvement in future transactions and subsequent due diligence and data room

Key requirements for the role:

  • You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller, ideally having undertaken FP&A
  • Strong IT skills, notably Excel and database systems as well banking facilities
  • Experience of managing and leading teams. developing and coaching
  • Previous experience of accounting systems essential
  • Experience of PE preferable and a desire to work in a fast paced, growth environment
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
  • Eager to learn/ grow, organised, analytical and excellent attention to detail

Currently the finance team meet weekly in the office, though remote working is available, if preferred you can work in their wonderful offices - the company runs regular social events and staff trips to amazing locations globally.
