Join us for a refreshing and thought-provoking webinar on 22/11/2023 from 13:00 - 14:00 GMT, hosted by EquityFD, where we hear from three CFOs sharing their experiences as leaders in growth, scaling businesses with very clear missions. Our panellists will discuss how they got to where they are today, the choices they have made and how that journey has impacted on how they've grown teams beneath and around them. They will explore whether scaling means that purpose and values are stretched or even changed, and how a CFO affects business behaviors and plays a key role in driving the business purpose.
Hear our speakers discuss their careers and journeys, including:
- Values and business missions
- Finance and organisation culture
- Enhancing and driving culture
- Building diverse teams
About the speakers
Facilitator: Sarah Hunt, CEO, Equity FD
Sarah started her career as a City Lawyer, followed by six years at Michael Page in their City division. She ran a team placing senior finance professionals into banking and FS clients. The combination of these initial quite diverse career choices gave Sarah the knowledge and the inspiration to go out and set up her own business in 2000 with backing from Invex Capital. She established EquityFD, with EquityFC, EquityInterim and EquityChair in the following years. The core tenet of the business remains the same today: spending the time to develop a whole network of candidates, understanding not just what they can do but what they want to do, and partnering them with businesses whose aspirations for growth and value match theirs.
