Our client is a rapidly growing, PE backed technology business with an impressive, blue-chip client base. They are now seeking a commercial analyst to ensure the accuracy and reliability of commercial information as part of the company’s new business and renewal activity. You will partner multi-functional bid teams and will provide commercial guidance and modelling support to facilitate the successful and timely delivery of commercials related to relevant sales activity. You are able to work in any of the hubs across the UK, or remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support on bids and tender responses as part of the wider bid team alongside technical consultants (presales), bid management and sales counterparts.
  • Assess commercial accuracy of financial information related to investment decisions and sales opportunities.
  • Analyse tender documents and contract reviews created by the bid team to ensure bid requirements and risks are correctly quantified.
  • Provide modelling expertise to support the bid team in creating financial models for sales activity
  • Provide assurance to and respond to challenge from senior executives during the presentation of sales opportunities for approval
  • Provide ad hoc support to sales, legal and the wider finance team on a broad range of customer and product activities


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant, finalist or relevant degree
  • Experienced in commercial bid work
  • Working within a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Commercial acumen, able to think commercially
  • Attention to detail and able to deal with complex information
  • Tenacity to resolve ambiguity of financial information
