Management Accountant

Our client is a leading, Private Equity Backed, multi-site business which is growing at an exponential rate . As part of the continuing scale there is a newly created vacancy to recruit a Management Accountant to join a talented team. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for producing monthly management reports and financial information/analysis and have management responsibility. You will gain exposure to senior management and work in a fast-paced organisation. This would suit an ambitious accountant looking for progression and exposure to Private Equity and scale-up.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monthly management reporting, Variance Analysis and KPI calculations
  • Preparation of consolidated reporting.
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Budget and Forecast preparation
  • Looking to improve accounting policies, control and procedures
  • Liaison with Internal & External Auditors
  • Supporting acquisitions and disposals
  • Financial modelling for forecasts / budgets etc.
  • Ad hoc project work and appraisals as required

Key requirements for the role:

  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a degree level education
  • Highly numerate/analytical.
  • Highly adept within Office suite with strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, v-lookups)
  • Able to work collaboratively and communicate present to all levels within the organisation.
  • A “can-do” achiever, with a desire to progress in your career
