Our client is an innovative car leasing and hire business with a specific focus on the gig economy. Reporting to the CEO key responsibilities for this role will include -

1. Managing Multiple Debt facilities

Be capable of understanding reporting / covenants and a facility agreement
Reporting to debt funders
Compliance with responsibilities detailed in the facilities
Commercial understanding of the details and implications of debt facilities

2. Loan Management Software 

Learn the system
Understand and generate reports from the system (to use in our management accounts)

3. Cash Flow Management, Forecasting and Budgeting

Maintaining existing financial model in a growing business

4. Management of the Financial side of our insurance

Collections / Credit Control

To include gaining an understanding of regulated credit control and our arrears process

Supplier payments / managements
Accurate and timely production of management accounts and reporting

5. Tax / Audit / Payroll

Management of all tax related matters incl. VAT
Management of audit
Sales commission calculations / marketing referrals
Writing down allowances

6. Compliance

Reporting to FCA – Gabriel reporting
Compliance Officer status for the FCA
Statutory compliance i.e. Companies House
PCI compliance management

7. Product Pricing

Ownership of the pricing models
Supplying the business with up to date pricing for different vehicles

8. Capable of presenting the management information to a financially strong board

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a track record of managing successful teams, improving financial processes and the ability to act as an interface for finance with other parts of the business. You must have excellent communication skills and a truly hands on approach.
