Our client is a high growth health and wellbeing focussed FMCG company. This role will play a crucial role in the continued growth of the business. Key responsibilities will include –

  • Management and development of the finance team in the U.K.
  • Establish, Lead, manage and develop a local finance team in the USA to bring in house the accounting/administration function for the company’s U.S. subsidiary.
  • Development of systems and internal controls in both the U.K. and U.S.A commensurate with the growing businesses, ensuring the integrity of financial records and reporting
  • Timely production of monthly management accounts (separate companies and group consolidated) and reporting of the performance of the company and the state of its finances to the Board and investors
  • Preparation of forecasts and annual budgets for both the U.K. and U.S companies
  • Overseeing all tax and regulatory/compliance issues in the U.K. and USA.
  • Supporting the Board and management team in developing and delivering the strategic goals of the business
  • Supporting the Board and management team in investment activities, due diligence processes and preparation of information for investors

You will be a Qualified Accountant with an appetite to join an SME. You must be hands-on, energetic and commercially minded. You must be comfortable working with people at all levels and have an appreciation of the challenges facing a finance person in a small team.
