Our client is an AIM listed, international Professional Services firm with a blue-chip client base and a strong record of successful delivery.

Having just completed a high-profile acquisition, as well as an internal restructure, they are now seeking a Group Financial Controller who will report directly to the Group Finance Director, as well as interacting with the rest of the senior management team.
This is a highly visible, standalone role. Main duties will include;
Monthly group management reporting, including group consolidations
Co-ordinating the group annual budget and quarterly forecasting process
Group external reporting, including IFRS accounts, UK subsidiary accounts and the annual audit
Managing UK and overseas taxation
Group treasury, including forex management
Company secretarial and investor relations work
This is a newly created role in a business which is growing at pace. The Group Financial Controller will be given a broad remit to develop more robust technical processes and internal reporting structures, whilst also supporting the Group Finance Director on a range of ad hoc projects. Applicants will be a fully qualified account with experience of auditing listed companies and international groups. They will be technically strong, with a solid working knowledge of IFRS. The role would be ideally suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to make their first step out of the profession, who is eager to leverage their technical strengths in a more entrepreneurial environment. The role will provide a platform to engage with the business operationally, and would be a great springboard into a more commercial role within the next few years.
