Our client is a high growth Private Equity backed organisation with offices in the North America, Middle East and Europe.  They are seeking a Group Financial Controller, reporting to the CFO, to oversee the finance function and business partner with the core leadership team, heads and VPs in regional offices.   Founded in 2000 our client has quickly established themselves as a leading-edge competitor with the breadth and diversity to deliver on an international level.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the accounting team, ensuring effective delivery of accounting activities
  • Preparation of month management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Production of Statutory Accounts and liaison with Auditors
  • Management of the accounting team and bi-annual appraisals, encouraging a positive culture that supports high growth
  • Implement and manage processes/tools/systems to measure and report on KPIs
  • Management of working capital including billings and WIP
  • Analysis and evaluation of new services and projects from a financial perspective
  • Provision of financial input into bidding or pricing proposals, including negotiation of terms (in conjunction with legal)
  • Working with Senior Management to prepare forecasts, budgets and long-term strategic plans

Candidate profile

  • You will be an ambitious qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE
  • Experienced in managing a team
  • Ability to get into the detail and see the greater picture
  • Ideally experience of working in an international organisation
  • Positive social outgoing manner
  • Ideally you would have experience of professional services
  • Dynamic and energetic leader with good change management skills
