This exciting opportunity to join a London based , high profile, sports brand will require a talented financial controller/head of finance  most likely from a retail or e-commerce background. You will be commercially focused. whilst still down in the detail and relish the opportunity to  work closely with the COO, the owner and the founder. The business is growing rapidly and the successful candidate will be of a high calibre, very creative and confident in their approach with the experience to identify and implement a best in class controls environment.

Reporting directly to the COO you are responsible for

  • Ownership across all areas of finance
  • Working closely with the auditors
  • Internal controls
  • Budgeting and analysing financial data
  • All monthly, quarterly and annual accounting
  • Statutory accounting
  • Overseeing all tax and compliance
  • Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy
  • Excellent IT skills
  • P & L  revenue reconciliation
  • Management of cash flow and budgeting
  • Review of company expenditure

You will possess a balance of skills ideally gained within both larger and smaller organisations as this role is very hands on with the opportunity to grow the finance team.
